Privacy

My Matchday Report is a free static web app. We don't run a backend or a database. The short version: your data stays in your own browser.

What we collect on our servers

Nothing. The app has no account system and no telemetry.

What's stored in your browser (localStorage)

• The name you typed on the team picker (optional)
• Your chosen club
• The match IDs you've ticked as attended
• A cached copy of the fixture JSON for ~30 minutes, to avoid refetching

You can wipe all of it by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings.

Cookies

We don't set any. The hosting provider (Netlify) may set basic operational cookies for serving the site — see their privacy policy.

Third parties

• football-data.org — fixture data is fetched server-side during our build process; your browser never talks to them directly.
• Google Fonts & cdnjs — fonts and chart libraries are loaded from public CDNs. Your IP is visible to those CDNs as part of the HTTP request.
• Buy Me a Coffee — only loaded if you click the tip link in the footer.

Sharing a report

When you generate a share link, the URL contains an encoded snapshot of your selections (your club, the name you entered, and a bitmap of ticked fixtures). Anyone you give that URL to can see the same report. The URL is not sent to us — it lives only in whatever app you paste it into.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top.
